It’s that time of year again, for renewing your membership, OR a great time to join if you are not a member. Our memberships run from January 1st to December 31st, of each year. We hope you will continue to help us in our work in “Preserving our Past for the Future” of our Town, Moultonborough. All the membership money goes to pay for the operating expenses of the Society, which has increased especially for insurance on property owned and our valuable holdings of artifacts. In the coming year we will incur expenses we have not had in the past, namely an alarm system monitoring service and telephone service for the alarm system. We will also have an increase in utilities to maintain the temperature controlled in the Vic Hamke Document and Records Building. Of course there’s more, but these are the highlights to give you an idea why we need your help, support, and most of all participation. We have a Membership fee structure to give recognition to those who would like and can give a little more to help this effort. Those who can give a little extra will be recognized in the Yearbook accordingly, if you get your money in by January 31, 2010. If you can still give a little extra (and we hope you will), but missed or were not able to make this deadline, we will still recognize your great generosity in the Society’s next newsletter, after we receive your payment. New this year, you can join the Society or renew your membership, right here on line using PayPal. Or you can still print the Membership Form and return it with your payment.
